Vax U90 MA Re Review: Design and Appearance
The Vax U90-MA-Re Air Reach is predominantly made from plastic, with a stainless steel wand. The plastic does not feel cheap which is great considering the price, and it adds to the light weight of the vacuum.
The whole machine weighs in at 4.9kg which makes it ideal for carrying up a flight of stairs, although the long hose means you probably won’t have to.

The U90-MA-Re Air Reach is black and purple in colour. Although it doesn’t have the striking features of the latest Dyson or Shark models, it doesn’t look like a cheap vacuum by any means.
It has two wheels on the bottom to help with manoeuvrability, although it doesn’t come with Vax’s steerable technology that is available in higher priced models.

A High-Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filter is essential if you or anyone in your home suffers from allergies caused by pets, pollen or dust. Most new vacuum cleaners have one, and thankfully the Vax U90-MA-Re Air Reach has one too.
The HEPA filter is completely washable, which also cuts down the cost of having to buy replacement filters. The HEPA filter has been designed to last the lifetime of the vacuum.
