Like I said before, the Vax 6131T isn’t going to win any beauty contests. The body is a large orange canister that resembles a more traditional vacuum cleaner from the 1970s and is nothing like the modern, aesthetically pleasing vacuums that are available today.
The vacuum cleaner is simple and has an industrial feel to it, which gives the impression of a machine that was designed purely for power, and not aesthetics.
This is a good thing in my opinion; there are too many vacuum cleaners that look great, but really lack in the power and cleaning departments. Vacuum cleaners should be designed to clean, who cares what they look like?
None of that really matters though, and the most important thing is how the vacuum performs when cleaning your carpet. It is very easy to manoeuvre thanks to the five strong caster wheels, which also make it stable.
The body is made from high-quality plastic and feels strong and robust. You get the feeling the Vax 6131T could take a real beating and still last for years.
